From the Houston Fine Art Fair website:

"The first annual Houston Fine Art Fair is set to blow the cover off the country’s best-kept secret. Still undiscovered by many of the most savvy art aficionados, Houston will soon be known as the cultural gem of the US—home to major museums, a thriving gallery scene, and a strong base of serious collectors and patrons. And now celebrating its entry into the international art fair calendar, Houston is set to be a gracious host to the first annual HFAF, with festivities beginning on the evening of September 15 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
HFAF aspires to reflect Houston’s sophisticated and diverse collecting practices, where arts enthusiasts will encounter an international cross-section of works in all media, from post-war to the present. Some 80 distinctive exhibitors from across the US, Latin America and Europe are participating in the fair, featuring modern and contemporary masters, mid-career and emerging artists from around the globe. HFAF will also feature on-site installations, special projects, and an exciting program of panel discussions designed for both novice and experienced collectors. "
